Step 1: Ensure that QuickBooks is up to date

Step 2: Rename .ND and .TLG files

Rename .ND and .TLG files
  1. Open folder where the company file is stored.
  2. You need to search files with extensions .ND and .TLG
  3. Rename each file and add OLD at the end of all the file names.

  1. Firstly, open “No Company Open”
  2. Choose Open a Sample File.
  3. Select a file from the sample company files.

Step 4: Copy QB File on Desktop

  3. Copy the file and paste it on Desktop.
  4. Press and hold Control key to open QB. No Company Open window will open.

  5. Now switch to multi-user mode to open the file.

    • Read Attributes
    • Read Extended Attributes
    • Create Files/Write Data
    • Create Folders/Append Data
    • Write Attributes
    • Write Extended Attributes
    • Read Permissions
